Data Retention Policy

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, to provide Compound to you, to comply with our legal obligations, and to protect the security and integrity of the Service.

While your Compound account is active, we retain your profile information, habits, goals, routines, streaks, achievements, analytics and journal entries so you can continue using the Service.

Accounts with no sign-in activity for an extended period (default: 24 months) may be flagged as inactive. We will attempt to contact you before deleting or anonymising an inactive account.

When you delete your account, we remove your profile and User Content from active production systems within 30 days. Certain limited data may remain in encrypted backups for a short period as described below.

We keep encrypted backups for up to 90 days to enable disaster recovery. Data in backups cannot be selectively deleted; it is overwritten and removed on the backup rotation schedule.

Security-relevant logs (authentication events, abuse detection, IP addresses) are retained for up to 12 months to help us detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.

We may retain certain records (for example billing records, tax records, and material needed to defend legal claims) for longer periods where required by applicable law.

You can request deletion at any time by deleting your account or contacting us at [hello@unohu.app]. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
